Strandlings and Satellites

Sea turtle conservation in South Africa is built on decades of science, rescue and community action. This presentation follows the remarkable journey from rescue and rehabilitation to satellite tracking and release, revealing what researchers have learned about these ancient ocean travellers. It is also a story about people, highlighting the critical role that coastal communities play in helping sea turtles survive and thrive.
